The Draft
So Anaheim won the second overall pick in the '05-'06 NHL draft. I think this year I'll finally be able to afford to watch a hockey game, seeing that around Southern California, only half the population even knows what hockey is. No matter how well the Leafs did, I don't think I could ever justify spending $100+ on crap seats.
Go Ducks! Though with the Samueli family purchase of the franchise from Disney, rumor is that they'll change the name to simply the Anaheim Ducks. I'm all for that.

It's sick how cheap tickets are elsewhere in NHL-land. In Toronto, $200 gets you a seat in the Greens (upper bowl).
In Buffalo (when the Leafs are visiting), $200 gets you two rows behind Eddie Belfour.
(I hope parking there isn't also $20 on game night).
