Lost and found
After a full three months in my possession, I think I've lost my cell phone. I feel almost naked without it. To tell you the truth, I'm not really sure where I lost it, not so much as a clue. All I know is that culminating in today, for the last three days I've had an odd feeling that something was missing. My experience is a bit like "phantom limb" sensation that amputees sometimes experience, where they experience sensations from an appendage that is no longer there, except that in my case the missing appendage was my Motorola V220, clipped to my hip.
Retail price is so high for new phones too. They're so heavily subsidized by the wireless companies that it costs almost five times more to buy without the contract - damn the wireless companies and damn the time value of money!
I've calculated, it's going to take at least twenty brown bag lunches to make up for the phone. Doh.

You know, now that I've thought about it, I think I may have lost it somewhere along the Pacific Coast. I did go for a long drive this weekend.
Hmm...
