V-day
Hey, I hope everyone had a happy Valentine's. I ended up watching HBO.
I hope all you guys enjoyed getting shafted by the florists of the world enforcing the ironclad law of demand and supply. I'll just bask in the glory of my digital toys instead.
Erm, I had some more pithy remarks to be published, however it's time for lunch, and my appetite waits for no one.

Last year William "happened" to be singing an opera performance on V-Day. ;) We celebrated Feb 15th, and among other things, I got a big box of Godiva chocolates (that were 50% off). I was actually happy to know they were on sale - that stuff is ridiculously expensive!
There you go - convince your significant other to make Feb 15th "our" Valentine's Day. ;) (Or, make your honey something - that's a gift that's almost free.)
(At least flowers are now available relatively cheaply at grocery stores. Remember when it was florists-only? Yikes!)
